The Power of the Force Biker Scout with Speeder Bike was quite an early release in the series having hit the shops in 1995. Considering its age the Biker Scout action figure is not a bad rendition of the character at all. He also makes a good accompaniment to the vintage Biker Scouts in that he is articulated to ride a speeder bike whilst they stand around which adds to the display potential for your Endor scenes quite a bit. Moreover, the position of the Scout's body on the Speeder Bike can help create the illusion that the bike is moving at speed, if you look at the way he leans forwards, with his knees clenching the frame of the bike and his calves angled back.

My one gripe with this Biker Scout action figure is that he has a blaster moulded onto his ankle holster which isn't painted, but just plain white so it doesn't stand out at all. The Biker Scout figure didn't come with a blaster which makes this an even more serious omission.

The Speeder Bike itself has some small improvements over it's Kenner predecessor including the splashes of mud on the front end of the bike. The handle bars are bulkier than those of the Kenner Speeder Bikes to accommodate the bigger hands on this range of figures.

The Biker Scout and Speeder Bike were re-issued for an Original Trilogy Collection Five Pack which included a Power of the Force Han Solo, Logray and a Saga Series Endor Rebel Soldier.

Where possible original vintage accessories have been used but in some instances I have placed Kenner Star Wars figures with either reproduction weapons and accessories or for Hasbro figures close approximations have been used. All of the Star Wars action figures shown were purchased second hand, usually incomplete, and in bulk. They have been reunited with their original weapons and accessories where we could get hold of them.
