Original Trilogy Collection Star Wars Action Figures...

Original Trilogy Collection Overview

In the hiatus between the release of The Attack of the Clones in 2002 and the Revenge of the Sith in 2005, Hasbro took the opportunity to release the Original Trilogy Collection of figures which had it's emphasis very much on characters from Star Wars Episodes IV to VI. There are figures in the collection from the Prequel Trilogy, but the overwhelming majority of figures which are of note are ones from the Original Trilogy. This gave us terrific Cantina figures including Feltipern Travagg and Myo and also a great Dagobah Luke Skywalker who had a spare head and spare arms to use for handstands during his Jedi training. There were also re-releases of figures which were essentially Power of the Force figures (re-painted), but overall the momentum of this collection was definitely in the right direction.

The Original Trilogy Collection also brought us a number of commemorative figures including the silver Darth Vader, the 500th Figure Darth Vader and even some very twee Christmas Jawas.

All Star Wars action figures, vehicles, collectibles and Star Wars toys shown on this website are the 3.75 inch scale and from my own private Star Wars collection unless otherwise stated. Where possible original vintage accessories have been used but in some instances I have placed Kenner Star Wars figures with either reproduction weapons and accessories or for Hasbro figures close approximations have been used. This is mostly the case for modern Star Wars lightsabers where the correct item can be very difficult to identify on some ocassions. Vintage Star Wars action figures are shown with their original weapon or accessory when I have them. When a vintage Kenner action figure is shown with an accessory which is not original I have tried to point this out where possible.

All of the Star Wars action figures shown were purchased second hand, usually incomplete, and in bulk. They have been reunited with their original weapons and accessories where we could get hold of them.
