Yoda (Dagobah) Action Figure: Overview

Yoda Figure Dagobah Original Trilogy Collection front

The Original Trilogy Collection Yoda action figure's articulation is quite basic and restricted but he nevertheless displays very well indeed. His hands are perfectly articulated to recreate the scene in which Yoda uses the Force to raise Luke's X-Wing Fighter out of the swamp.

I am missing the half of Luke's blue backpack which comes with this action figure. This matches up with the other half of the backpack which comes with the Original Trilogy Dagobah Luke Skywalker. I'm also missing Yoda's cane, but even without these two accessories this Yoda makes a splendid display figure for Dagobah scenes.

For the banner photo I've used crates from the Kenner Dagobah playset and also the lamp and lunch box which come with the Saga Collection Hoth R2-D2 action figure. The Luke Skywalker figure that I've used is the Bespin Alliance one.

One of the Saga Collection containers is Luke's lunchbox which Yoda ransacks as part of his subterfuge to make Luke think he is a diminuitive harmless clown and nuisance rather than a revered Jedi Master. The unbecoming scene in which Yoda stuffs his face with Luke's lunch is very in-keeping with the way food, eating and meals are represented throughout the Star Wars movies. On the subject of food and drink in the Star Wars universe see here.

All Star Wars action figures, vehicles, collectibles and Star Wars toys shown on this website are the 3.75 inch scale and from my own private Star Wars collection unless otherwise stated. Where possible original vintage accessories have been used but in some instances I have placed Kenner Star Wars figures with either reproduction weapons and accessories or for Hasbro figures close approximations have been used. This is mostly the case for modern Star Wars lightsabers where the correct item can be very difficult to identify on some ocassions. Vintage Star Wars action figures are shown with their original weapon or accessory when I have them. When a vintage Kenner action figure is shown with an accessory which is not original I have tried to point this out where possible.

All of the Star Wars action figures shown were purchased second hand, usually incomplete, and in bulk. They have been reunited with their original weapons and accessories where we could get hold of them.
