This Power of the Force Landspeeder is quite a neat re-hash of the Vintage Kenner predecessor. It's less orange and more yellow, which means that Obi-Wan Kenobi stands out a little more, since with the Kenner iteration Obi-Wan's body and cloak were almost the same colour as the speeder itself.

There are two handy nodes on the rear of the Landspeeder to stand extra figures on. The engine hood pops open (there's a button on the front). Open up the gear shaft and the Landspeeder's wheels pop out to give it the effect of gliding which is rather nice and the wheels aren't too obtrusive. The ageing on the Landspeeder is quite sympathetically done as well.

The middle rear engine has a habit of snapping off and from the front view and the insides of the engines are a little plain but all in all this Power of the Force vehicle is a very good re-imagining of the classic vintage Kenner Landspeeder.

When a vintage Kenner action figure is shown with an accessory which is not original I have tried to point this out where possible.

All of the Star Wars action figures shown were purchased second hand, usually incomplete, and in bulk. They have been reunited with their original weapons and accessories where we could get hold of them.
