This Rebel Pilots Cinema Scene three pack of action figures provides a nice variety of Rebel Pilots, including an X-Wing Pilot (Wedge Antilles), a B-Wing Pilot (Ten Numb) and an A-Wing Pilot (Arvel Crynyd). A cynical observer however might say that this was a very good way of encouraging fans to buy more Star Wars ships so that these pilots had something to fly.
I don't have the cinema scene backdrop for these three action figures.
Of all the Power of the Force Rebel X-Wing pilots, the Wedge Antilles action figure is far superior to the others. For one thing he is much more in proportion and less bulky and for another his helmet is removable and is an incredibly nice design and fit. The inner orange inside the helmet is also a nice touch. Both Crynyd's A-Wing Pilot helmet and Numb's B-Wing Pilot helmet are also removable and very much worth having being as they are both of a unique design.
Arvel Crynyd has rather an odd looking helmet, and a slight case of banana legs but this B-Wing pilot is not such a terrible action figure.
Find Rebel Pilots (Ten Numb, Wedge Antilles, Arvel Crynyd) on eBay.
The detail on the Ten Numb figure's jacket is quite nice and the face has a passable likeness. What comes after Nien Nunb? Well Ten Numb of course. Some of the character naming in the Star Wars canon can really be quite lazy. Will we see an Eleven Nunb in a future Star Wars trilogy? Also note here that Numb's surname is spelt slightly differently to that of his Kenner predecessor (we now have Nunb and Numb and I'm not sure whether this is an error or whether one is canonically accepted over the other.)
All Star Wars action figures, vehicles, collectibles and Star Wars toys shown on this website are the 3.75 inch scale and from my own private Star Wars collection unless otherwise stated. Where possible original vintage accessories have been used but in some instances I have placed Kenner Star Wars figures with either reproduction weapons and accessories or for Hasbro figures close approximations have been used. This is mostly the case for modern Star Wars lightsabers where the correct item can be very difficult to identify on some ocassions. Vintage Star Wars action figures are shown with their original weapon or accessory when I have them. When a vintage Kenner action figure is shown with an accessory which is not original I have tried to point this out where possible.
All of the Star Wars action figures shown were purchased second hand, usually incomplete, and in bulk. They have been reunited with their original weapons and accessories where we could get hold of them.
