Whilst having an Imperial Stormtrooper carrying a banner like this might seem fairly gimmicky (and perhaps even a bit Roman-esque), this is nonetheless a beautifully designed and sculpted 501st Stormtrooper action figure and a great addition to any collection. The Imperial insignia on the Stormtrooper's breast plate makes him pretty unmistakeable as part of Vader's Fist (it also means that he can't really stand in for a generic Stormtrooper if you're looking for army builders).

This action figure was a 2006 Comicon exclusive so strictly speaking not a Saga Collection figure, but since it is contemporary with the Saga Collection I've included amongst the Saga Collection action figures.

The 501st Legion comes up a fair bit in relation to Anakin Vader, and we also see Anakin leading a 501st Legion of Clone Troopers in the Clone Wars Series. The 501st were also the legion of Clone Troopers which Anakin led in the attack on the Jedi Temple in The Revenge of the Sith.
