The Saga Series B'omarr Monk action figure shipped with two other Jabba's Court Denizens, Bubo and the wonderfully named Wol Cabasshite. Of the other two I only have Bubo at present (pictured in the banner photo). Denizens is a very good word to describe the three collectively. The Merriam-Webster Dictionary describes a denizen as 'a person, animal, or plant that lives in or often is found in a particular place or region', since Bubo seems to be some sort of pet, Wol Cabasshite is some sort of mollusc which lives on the palace ceiling and B'omarr Monk has just continued lingering around from the time when Jabba's Palace was a B'omarr monastery (http://www.learnersdictionary.com/definition/denizen). As such, Bubo, B'omarr Monk and Wol Cabasshite are all inhabitants of Jabba's Palace but you couldn't really describe them as being courtiers.

I have a slight confession to make here; namely that I don't own the complete B'omarr Monk action figure from the Jabba's Palace Court Denizens three pack. I had to borrow both the abdomen and the grabber claw from the mail away 1997 Power of the Force B'omarr Monk figure which I had acquired some time earlier. The two peices do seem to be identical however so to all intents and purposes the figure in the photo (to the right) is complete. The only differences between the two iterations of the B'omarr Monk figure that are perceptible are that the mailaway one has a blue bowl whilst the Jabba's Court Denizens B'omarr Monk has a pinkish bowl.
The monks carry their brains around in this bowl and since it bears some similarity to Jabba's frog bowl one might suspect that they might be prone to getting accidentally eaten by the Hutt gangster.
The pinkish bowl of this B'omarr Monk version of the figure looks to be fuller, which makes me wonder whether the brain in the blue bowl version isn't drying out a little due to this lack of fluid.
All Star Wars action figures, vehicles, collectibles and Star Wars toys shown on this website are the 3.75 inch scale and from my own private Star Wars collection unless otherwise stated. Where possible original vintage accessories have been used but in some instances I have placed Kenner Star Wars figures with either reproduction weapons and accessories or for Hasbro figures close approximations have been used. This is mostly the case for modern Star Wars lightsabers where the correct item can be very difficult to identify on some ocassions. Vintage Star Wars action figures are shown with their original weapon or accessory when I have them. When a vintage Kenner action figure is shown with an accessory which is not original I have tried to point this out where possible.
All of the Star Wars action figures shown were purchased second hand, usually incomplete, and in bulk. They have been reunited with their original weapons and accessories where we could get hold of them.
