Jabba the Hutt (with Two-Headed Announcer) Overview

Jabba the Hutt with Chuba in mouth Jabba the Hutt with gong and Chuba

The Episode One Collection Jabba The Hutt (with Two-Headed Announcer) isn't such a bad rendition of Jabba although the colour doesn't match that of Jabba in The Phantom Menace and when the Chuba fish is not in the figure's mouth it leaves him with an aesthetically unpleasing cross-shaped hole in his mouth.

Find Jabba the Hutt (with Two-Headed Announcer) on eBay

In this scene from The Phantom Menace we encounter a few other faces from Jabba's Palace from The Return of the Jedi, including Rystall (the dancer) and also Bib Fortuna, so I've introduced these figures into the background for the photos.

The spring which fires the Chuba missile is much stronger than I expected and the Chuba leaves Jabba's mouth at quite a high velocity. So, before triggering this by moving Jabba's left arm I'd make sure that there's no bone china or Waterford crystal in its flight path.

I was intrigued to discover that you can fill this Phantom Menace Jabba the Hutt figure with water and make him spit. What next? A urinating Luke Skywalker or a crying Malakili (Rancor Keeper) perhaps?

As well as the Chuba fish Jabba comes packed with a Fode and Beed (two-headed announcer) figure and a gong. See also Fode and Beed.

All Star Wars action figures, vehicles, collectibles and Star Wars toys shown on this website are the 3.75 inch scale and from my own private Star Wars collection unless otherwise stated. Where possible original vintage accessories have been used but in some instances I have placed Kenner Star Wars figures with either reproduction weapons and accessories or for Hasbro figures close approximations have been used. This is mostly the case for modern Star Wars lightsabers where the correct item can be very difficult to identify on some ocassions. Vintage Star Wars action figures are shown with their original weapon or accessory when I have them. When a vintage Kenner action figure is shown with an accessory which is not original I have tried to point this out where possible.

All of the Star Wars action figures shown were purchased second hand, usually incomplete, and in bulk. They have been reunited with their original weapons and accessories where we could get hold of them.
