Naboo Pilot (The Phantom Menace) Action Figure: Overview

Naboo Pilot Figure Vintage Collection closeup

This Vintage Collection Naboo Pilot was the first one we'd had since the Episode One Collection Ric Olié action figure, and the first Naboo Pilot that could be considered an army builder. The wait was well worth it as this is a really splendid looking action figure.

The pilot action figure came with both a Naboo Pilot helmet with goggles and a Naboo Pilot helmet without goggles. This seems a bit of an extravagance and it might have been better to give him a Naboo Soldier helmet as an extra accessory rather than two of these.

I only have the pilot helmet with the flight goggles which is a good fit. The cloak/overcoat is a very nice colour but the length of the sleeves does make it quite difficult to get a blaster in the pilot's hands.

My main gripe with the Vintage Collection Naboo Pilot action figure is that he doesn't do the one main thing that you would expect out of a member of a Naboo royal flight squadron; namely he will not fit inside the Episode One Collection Naboo Royal Star Fighter. He's just too big and wide and there's no way he's ever going to fit in there in a way that would allow you to shut the cockpit lid on top of him.

Other Vintage Collection Action Figures

All Star Wars action figures, vehicles, collectibles and Star Wars toys shown on this website are the 3.75 inch scale and from my own private Star Wars collection unless otherwise stated. Where possible original vintage accessories have been used but in some instances I have placed Kenner Star Wars figures with either reproduction weapons and accessories or for Hasbro figures close approximations have been used. This is mostly the case for modern Star Wars lightsabers where the correct item can be very difficult to identify on some ocassions. Vintage Star Wars action figures are shown with their original weapon or accessory when I have them. When a vintage Kenner action figure is shown with an accessory which is not original I have tried to point this out where possible.
