Quinlan Vos is an unusual Jedi in that he is quite wild of appearance and has something of the barbarian about him with his unkept hair and painted face. He looks worlds apart from the neat and civilised Jedi who reside on Coruscant, a rogue amongst the order. This could have something to do with Vos being undercover or it may not. In the intervening years between The Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope Obi-Wan Kenobi seems to have more or less kept up his appearance, and whilst Yoda doesn't seem to have trimmed his ear hair in the last thirty years we can imagine that it would be much easier for standards to slip on Dagobah than it would be on Tatooine. So, Quinlan Vos's wildness is not necessarily a part of his being undercover and might just reflect that he's not particularly bothered with the dress code of the Jedi Order.
I'm missing the lightsaber hilt but I have the lightsaber and blaster which came with this Quinlan Vos action figure. The blaster is somewhat reminiscent of the Bespin style of weapon familiar from Kenner The Empire Strikes Back figures such as Han Solo, the Bespin Security Guards, Lando Calrissian and Lobot.

This is a Jedi Knight with both a blaster and a lightsaber which perhaps gives some clue to his character, with one foot in the Jedi Order and then other other in the shady world of space ports with pilots who have trusty blasters at their sides.
We get a fleeting glance of Quinlan Vos in Mos Espa in The Phantom Menace and his character is fleshed out in the Clone Wars animated series. There seems to be some mystery as to what Vos was doing on Tatooine and also as to why Qui-Gon Ginn and Vos didn't acknowledge one another when they are both Jedi Knights. See one explanation for this on YouTube here.
All Star Wars action figures, vehicles, collectibles and Star Wars toys shown on this website are the 3.75 inch scale and from my own private Star Wars collection unless otherwise stated. Where possible original vintage accessories have been used but in some instances I have placed Kenner Star Wars figures with either reproduction weapons and accessories or for Hasbro figures close approximations have been used. This is mostly the case for modern Star Wars lightsabers where the correct item can be very difficult to identify on some ocassions. Vintage Star Wars action figures are shown with their original weapon or accessory when I have them. When a vintage Kenner action figure is shown with an accessory which is not original I have tried to point this out where possible.
