General Grievous (with Wheel Bike) Revenge of the Sith Collection Overview

General Grievous with Wheel Bike Revenge of the Sith

The Revenge of the Sith Collection General Grievous with Wheel Bike action figure is the most basic iteration of Grievous that I've seen released. Grievous has no elbow or knee articulation and the mould is also not very detailed, especially around his mouth.

When I inspected this General Grievous with Wheel Bike action figure this was the first time that I noticed that General Grievous has two thumbs on each hand. You can't tell this when you look at the split-apart arm figures but having compared it to the figures where Grievous's arms are in one peice I can confirm that the General does indeed seem to have extra thumbs.

With the lack of articulation General Grievous doesn't look very dramatic and indeed he looks more like he's out for a gentle afternoon's perambulation along a quiet promenade than doing high-speed battle with Obi-Wan Kenobi mounted on his Boga. Almost any version of Grievous would look better on the wheel bike than this one.

The Revenge of the Sith Collection Wheel Bike itself is rather brilliant and a very good representation of the vehicle which we see in The Revenge of the Sith. Grievous fits into the pilot's seat very well and the bike is fantastically articulated. It's great for static scenes but you can't really recreate the high-octane chase scene. In fact, I do think that there should be a Scalextric version of General Grievous's Wheel Bike as it would be rather fabulous to have it in motion.

All Star Wars action figures, vehicles, collectibles and Star Wars toys shown on this website are the 3.75 inch scale and from my own private Star Wars collection unless otherwise stated. Where possible original vintage accessories have been used but in some instances I have placed Kenner Star Wars figures with either reproduction weapons and accessories or for Hasbro figures close approximations have been used. This is mostly the case for modern Star Wars lightsabers where the correct item can be very difficult to identify on some ocassions. Vintage Star Wars action figures are shown with their original weapon or accessory when I have them. When a vintage Kenner action figure is shown with an accessory which is not original I have tried to point this out where possible.

All of the Star Wars action figures shown were purchased second hand, usually incomplete, and in bulk. They have been reunited with their original weapons and accessories where we could get hold of them.
