The drummer action figures from Jabba's Palace, Ak Rev and Umpass Stay, are both very well detailed and make excellent additions to Jabba's throne room scenes.
The Ak Rev and Umpass Stay figures whilst together forming a diptych (beating each side of the complete drum) are packaged as separate figures and are part of two different action figure series. Umpass Stay (Return of the Jedi) came as a 2007 30th Anniversary Collection with Collector's Coin figure and the Ak Rev (Max Rebo Band) was a 2008 Legacy Collection action figure with Galactic Battle Game.

Other members of the Max Rebo Band have traditionally come packed together in sets. The vintage Kenner Max Rebo band was a three-pack of action figures. Then there are the two packs, such as the Power of the Force Joh Yowza and Sy Snootles, Max Rebo with Doda Bodonawieedo, Oola with Salacious Crumb and Droopy McCool with Barquin D'an figure. Jabba the Hutt's Dancers came as a Power of the Force three-pack as well. The only other entertainers at Jabba's palace which come packed individually that I can think of are the Rappertunie and Yarna D'Al'Gargan figures.
As such, having the Ak Rev and Umpass Stay action figures sold separately was rather a departure from tradition. Moreover, since the two halves of the drum for these figures physically snap together it feels slightly off key that they had to be purchased separately and weren't even part of the same action figure series. In fact, they only become figures that you can display all 360%s of when you have them both.
The action figures themselves are of a very high quality and finish. Ak Rev's outfit is especially vibrant and colourful with vivid red, mustard yellows, greens, browns and splashes of turquoise, something which can be lost when he ends up in the dark recesses of Jabba's throne room.
All Star Wars action figures, vehicles, collectibles and Star Wars toys shown on this website are the 3.75 inch scale and from my own private Star Wars collection unless otherwise stated. Where possible original vintage accessories have been used but in some instances I have placed Kenner Star Wars figures with either reproduction weapons and accessories or for Hasbro figures close approximations have been used. This is mostly the case for modern Star Wars lightsabers where the correct item can be very difficult to identify on some ocassions. Vintage Star Wars action figures are shown with their original weapon or accessory when I have them. When a vintage Kenner action figure is shown with an accessory which is not original I have tried to point this out where possible.
All of the Star Wars action figures shown were purchased second hand, usually incomplete, and in bulk. They have been reunited with their original weapons and accessories where we could get hold of them.
